Barbuda Fishing Tournament

The Barbuda fishing tournament took place on Saturday 6th November 2010. Boats departed from Codrington Lagoon wharf at 7am and returned at 3pm. Some boats completely circumnavigated the whole island.The winner of the largest fish was Jonny Desuza with a 31lbs Wahoo. The most fish entry was won by Henry Hopkins and Sheraz Hopkins with eight fish weighting a total of 81lbs. There was much music and a large gathering of people to greet the returning competitors.
