The Sir McChesney George Secondary School

The new extension to Sir McChesney George Secondary School is nearly completed after a rebuild, funded by a UPP government loan, from the Caribbean Development Bank. It will finally allow secondary education on Barbuda to have the space it deserves. SMGSS takes students from the Common Entrance exam age of 12 years, until leaving age. The wide range of CXC exams taken by students range from the five core subjects (maths, English, languages, science and the arts) to home economics. The Principal, Mr John Mussington, heads a team of 20 teachers, the deputy head is Mr Rexford Harry.
