Cooperative egg farm opens

The Barbuda Farmers Co-operative recently opened their egg farm. The business presently consist of 100 juvenile chickens which after about six months will produce one egg per day each. The owners intend to expand the project over the next two years in order that the importing of eggs from Antigua and the USA to Barbuda is vastly reduced and we can all benefit from fresh eggs every day.
