Weddings at the Martello Tower, River, Barbuda

The Barbuda Council Tourism Committee has established a marriage dedication site at the Martello Tower at River. The first wedding celebration was conducted on 12th May when Tracilyn Beazer, a Barbudan resident of New York, was married to Mr Paulo Barrett, a fellow New Yorker. The concept was developed by Mrs Beazer-Williams, the new chair of Tourism, in conjunction with the Director General of Tourism in New York, Drede Samuel-Witlock.
