Poetry and Puppet at the Lyme

Kenyatta, Berwin, and Everette George are hosting an open mike “spoken words” poetry event at 7 pm. They have a mike to be rocked if you have a love jones, a political view, a socio-economic view, or simply a thought to express. It doesn’t matter if you write original pieces or would rather read a piece by your favourite poet, bring it along, da mike is open. They have relaxing music like smooth and light jazz, souls singers like Erika Badu and Q-Tip. So come out and enjoy a relaxing evening of poetry. Admission is free.
