Digicel launches new phone service

Digicel launched its new mobile phone service with a jam at the Lyme with Renegade Sound on Friday 7 April. On Saturday Barbudans queued for up to 5 hours to claim a free mobile Digicel phone. The phones were given to all registered voters. Cable and Wireless and APUA already provide mobiles services to the island.
