barbuda developments – the beach house

In spite of the Beach House being left in a derelict state by previous owners, they have applied for still more land from the Council. At a meeting held in Codrington this week, Barbudans voted for sustainable local tourism and refused their application (Adobe Acrobat, pdf document, 600KB). It would be beneficial for the local economy to have the Beach House up and running, but that needs to happen before other developments take place.
