Basketball Stars

Kevin Samuel is a Barbudan success story, the first to play major Division I basketball in the USA from Barbuda. Along with Cohen DeSouza, who played at Tyler Junior College in 2014-15, and is now playing for the Antigua and Barbuda national team, Kevin’s  promise in the sport (and his 6’11 height) landed him in the United States for junior and senior years of high school, where he was home-schooled and played for Redemption Christian Academy in Houston. Samuel developed into a four-star prospect ranked No. 6 in the class of 2017 top 100 players in the state of Texas, and has continued his rise in the sport.
