Back to a five day week for Council workers

Workers of the Barbuda Council will return to a five-day week after several months of working only three days, resulting in financial hardship to many since September of 2015. Lionel Max Hurst said Cabinet will find the cash to pay a record number of nearly 600 employees on the payroll. In addition they will find US $200,000 to pay Social Security for outstanding areas owed by the Barbuda Council and complete the reverse osmosis plant.
