This Stanhope Shepherd attempt to take up land at Gravenor Bay and Spanish Point (which is a National Park and as such cannot be developed) has been on the cards since 2011 when it came before the UPP government and was immediately rejected as not having the necessary capital to proceed. The same group then informed the people of Barbuda that they had also acquired the lease for the Beach House and even held an open evening to list the jobs that could be applied for! Which of course never materialised. But now the Queen of England is apparently also backing this project and their Gravesnor lease has been approved by Nibbs. An election is just around the corner…
