Inter-island Security

The Department of Immigration has introduced new security checks for people travelling between Antigua and Barbuda. Nationals of Antigua and Barbuda will have to present photo identification, for example a driver’s licence, naturalization card, passport, voter’s ID, or any official photo ID. Non-nationals must present a valid passport, as no other document will be accepted, to an immigration officer before departure. These measures will improve security in Antigua and Barbuda by preventing people travelling on someone else’s ticket and ensuring that all travellers check in personally.
