There are currently two hotels open on Barbuda. The five star Barbuda Belle resort re-opened after Irma this November and is as popular as before with it's beautiful pink sand and addition of a new beac bar a short walk from the main hotel. Barbuda Cottages on the south side of the island, are re-opening in December and both are taking bookings now.
Sadly, we lost Coco Point Lodge which was the first ever hotel on the island and has had generations of the same families as guests. The lease has been taken over by the Discovery Land Company who are currently rebuilding as Barbuda Ocean Club. Hmmmm, we hope they will join the website and give us more accurate information soon.
North Beach was destroyed. The Lighthouse remains closed, as does Palmetto (the Beach House). For other places to stay on Barbuda, see the guest house listings.
