The “Fishing Palace” being built on the banks of the Codrington lagoon is one month ahead of schedule. The building will be completed sometime towards the end of August. The equipment housed in the buildings will provide a quantum leap forward in the development of the fisheries industry on the island of Barbuda. Storage and packaging of fishing products will be brought up to international standards and provide a major boost to the island’s export of seafoods.
