Council meet with APUA to discuss energy infrastructure

Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) have met with the Barbuda Council to discuss ways it will improve our energy resources, and give better resilience for future energy requirements for the island. Hurricane Irma destroyed 95% of the existing (inadequate and under-resourced) electricity and water supply on Barbuda, including the out-dated and unreliable diesel-generator power plant for electricity, and our insufficient daily water supplies. The solar-generating power plant is moving forwards as part of this endeavour to achieve this.
